The World 'Soricia'

The World of Soricia is a diverse fantasy world that has a total of 6 countries, and 5 oceans. Each country have their own kind of government, law, industries, resources, and magic affinity. The world is also populated with a total of 6 unique races. Each country is beautiful in their own way. Some have ruins, artifacts, and some dungeons and monsters, and some have unexplored lands unknown to man.

The World of Soricia has a colorful and eventful past, but no one certain lore behind the creation of the world. Each country have their own record of the creation of the world. What is certain is the existence of the 5 Gods of Soricia, each responsible of creating their own country.

Magic exists in the world of Soricia in many forms, but limited to two types (Aura and Fester) and 4 elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth). Each race have their own affinity to magic, and have their own unique abilities due to magic.

Though the world is fantastical - filled with magical locations and resources and lands waiting to be explored, the world is suffering from the after-effects of the War of Greed - a great war between each country fighting for the ownership of resources. The war gave birth to a permanent and dangerous result - a mysterious substance in many forms that continuously eat and destroy magic and life. This substance was given the name of the Plague. It poisoned the lands of each countries, making it near to impossible to collect and obtain resources.

 

Soon, it may even result to the death of the world.
