A merchant member of the guild is defined by traits and features discussed in this section. 

Shop / Business
Products & Shop

As a merchant, they gather, collect and craft their own products they sell in their businesses. Merchants can create their own product and add these to the canon world. Any merchant or NPC can purchase these items directly from the merchant, and they can earn a profit from the purchase. These products can be very helpful not only to the other merchants, but to the world and NPCs. It may even play a big role in the lore.

Upon application, a merchant must define their shop. Products are defined upon membership in the Discord server.

Gold Earnings

Money is what makes the merchants move. They rank up based from their total Gold earnings. The higher their rank is, the more perks and privileges you get.

Merchant Skills

Merchant Skills are skills a merchant needs to manage and perform their business. These skills can be magical depending on a merchant's magic abilities, or acquired skills learned from years of experience possible from tools, knowledge and proficiency.

Each merchant have salaries depending on their ranks. They can collect their salary daily in our Discord Server, through RPGBOT. 

Salary collection is done in #rpgbot channel, accessible to all Members. 

Ranking up

A merchant have ranks to quantify their reputation, experience and perks.

​

Ranking up requires the merchant to reach a certain threshold. They need to purchase a rank up ticket from the MG Shop that is worth at least 2 Full Body Shaded submission more than the previous rank and use to notify the Administration.

​

Once ranked up, they can not rank down anymore, and do not require to maintain their earnings within the rank threshold.

Ranks and Perks
Merchant Types

Merchants have Merchant Types - categorization of a merchant based from their specialty. Each Merchant Type covers a number of Merchant Trades - specific trade of a merchant under the type. Each Type also have one-time bonus stat. Merchants can avail to expand their business by buying a Business License in the Guild Shop that grants them / change their existing one a different merchant type.

Currently, only one Merchant Trade can exist in one country. If a type/trade does not apply to any of the merchant types, they are subject to discussion with the mods and is considered OTHERS.

Merchants specializing in growing and dealing with vegetation and meat.

Inventor, Engineer, Mechanic, Train Mechanic, any occupation that deals with machines and technology.

Upon application, merchants get free items from their first Merchant Trade. They can already use this in their background to support their profession before they have even joined the merchant guild.

They cannot get these freebies anymore on their 2nd or more merchant types.
