General Information

The Five Nations Trade Merchant Guild is a collective of merchants that has united together to continue business and trades, stabilize the economy, and provide protection and aid, all against the dangers of war. In a period where violence rules, the merchant guild provided a way to dictate trade and commerce against the laws of war.

What is a Merchant?

In the World of Astraea, a Merchant is an individual engaged in the business of selling and buying trading goods dealing with local and foreign countries. They also supply resources to another trade. They are also known to be adventurers and crafters. They explore the world for material, and craft their own merchandises for their business. ​

Mission
  • To continue business and trade locally and internationally in the midst of war

  • To maintain and stabilize the economy of each nation

  • To provide aid and protection towards fellow merchants

  • To provide assistance to other guilds that requires international travel

Benefits
  • The expense to Travel has been significantly eased by the Merchant Guild providing easier and cheaper travel for its merchant members. 

  • Each merchant has a stable income depending on their rank in the guild.

  • Prices and Taxes are dictated by the guild against the laws of the land.

  • Housing is provided to merchants in their guild halls (per country)

Structure
  • The Guild master and Representatives (Mods) are the current founders and greatest contributor in the guild. They remain in their nations to oversee their branches, provide training and protection.

    • The Administration (NPCs). The administration also consist of Secretaries, Treasury, and other administrative roles that give support to the merchants.
